Second Opinions

A calm, independent review of your diagnosis.

A second opinion is a structured review of your condition, imaging and proposed treatment by another consultant. It is a normal part of careful medical decision-making — especially before surgery.

What a second opinion is

An independent consultant review of your diagnosis, your imaging and tests, and the treatment you have been offered — with a clear explanation of whether the reasoning holds for your case.

Who may consider one

Patients who have been offered spine surgery, whose symptoms are not improving with current treatment, or who simply want more confidence before an important decision.

What you may need to provide

Recent imaging (MRI, X-ray or CT), previous medical reports, and a summary of treatments tried so far. The clinic team will confirm exactly what is needed before your visit.

What to expect

A focused consultation reviewing your case, a clear explanation of the findings, and an honest discussion of reasonable options — including the option of not operating.

Patient Education

Understand your condition. In plain language.

Educational articles, frequently asked questions, and short videos in plain language — each showing its medical-review status.
